La Guinée est parmi les pays les moins électrifiés d’Afrique. Même dans la sous-région Ouest-africaine la plupart de nosvoisins nous dépassent en termes de couverture d’électricité de leurs pays. Malgré d’importants efforts consentis par l’État ces dix dernières années pour améliorer ladesserte en énergie électrique, les villes guinéennes sont encore obscurcies par le manque d’électricité.

Guinea: 4,000 chimps safe in new national park
The West African country of Guinea is establishing a new forest reserve for about 4,000 chimpanzees. Moyen-Bafing National Park will cover an area of 6,426 square kilometers, making it the largest protected area for West African chimpanzees in Guinea.

High Guinean Government Official in Jail
Mamadou Dia, head of wildlife division in the Ministry in charge of wildlife now in prison ! Dia has created a fraudulent hunting reserve for the Spanish safari hunter arrested recently and took bribes from him. This high level corruption facilitated the slaughter of protected species by hunters from all over the globe under the pretense of this Safari hunting.
